On this first run of our hybrid planner + journal we are collecting data and testing a few options – like should we keep spiral or book bound, dated or undated, or whether to add future editions featuring the Old Testament. (This edition covers the entire New Testament.)

The Write Pursuit Planner + Journal
It is our prayer that writing a verse a day in our new hybrid planner + journal will foster a habit to begin every single day with the right pursuit – our Savior!

The Write Pursuit Planner will guide you to …

How is The Write Pursuit different from our other journals?
1. A New Combo
Obviously the first answer is that The Write Pursuit adds a planner element to our write-a-verse-a-day element so you can have both in one place! Of course if you don’t want a planner, you could simply ignore that part and just use the write-a-verse-a-day section on its own. BUT …
The purpose of combining a planner with a Scripture writing journal is to build in a habit of seeking the Lord before anything else on your To-Do list.
So we carefully curated 365 Bible verses from the New Testament that tell us things that are true about God. Each day you will be guided to write a verse and then offer the Lord a prayer of praise for that one thing that’s true about Him.
Then you will start your To-Do list. This new habit will only take a couple of minutes, but you will be amazed at how it will put your day in the right posture before the Lord before you hit the ground running.
2. A Quicker Time Frame (to help make sure it happens first in your day)
Our other 365 Scripture writing journals instruct you to read a section of verses and then write a specific verse plus answer one observation question.
But sometimes we just don’t have 15 minutes in the morning, right? Or maybe you prefer to do your Bible study at night. But we can’t deny that beginning each day with the Lord is crucial.
The Write Pursuit planner/journal is the first one we’ve offered where the specific verse you are guided to write can stand alone.* Each verse will tell you one thing that’s true about God. Reading the chapter around the designated verse is not mandatory (although it is an option!). This new quick method is especially helpful if you want to write a verse a day but are also doing another Bible study.
*It is our intention that the quick method in The Write Pursuit would be used as a supplement (not a replacement) to your regular daily Bible study.
Here’s how it will look …
You will be able to choose your own adventure:
A. Either use the journal portion to write a verse before breakfast as a quick start to your day that supplements your daily Bible study or …
B. If you need a Bible study, you can use the Scripture writing plan as your daily Bible study by adding time to read, study, and pray through the whole chapter of the verse you are guided to write that day. Doing so will take you through the entire New Testament in one year.
