Buckle up as we embark on a wild ride of exploring 365 verses that will point us to true heart satisfaction!

Well, not all 365 in one sitting. That would be wild! {grin}

But yes, you read that right.

365 Satisfied Bible Verses

One for each day of the year.

This topic is so significant that it runs throughout the entire Bible.

That alone should make us sit up and take notice. Add to that the fact that we all struggle with dissatisfaction, and suddenly we realize that we should not delay one more second in learning how our Creator designed us to handle it.

Yes, we can say “all” with certainty – because (as we studied in our last blog post) the Bible explains why we’re dissatisfied and even what to do about it!

After compiling these satisfied Bible verses, I am excited to tell you that this study brought about true and lasting heart-change – which is one of our goals! Little by little, we want to grow more like Jesus every day.

So let’s dig in!

Your dissatisfaction may stem from deep loss and tragedy, or just the normal hustle and bustle of keeping up with the Joneses, but we all fight it.

Whether it be a job, a family situation, a home, a church, or any number of things, we’ve all been there, right?

If we can’t keep up with the latest trend, meet the major milestone we’re desiring, or finally have that thing we’ve been wanting, we just don’t feel like we have enough.

And often when we do get that thing we’ve been searching and longing for, it still leaves us wanting.

It – whatever your “it” is – never seems to be enough.

Psalm 63:1 (CSB): God, you are my God; I eagerly seek you. I thirst for you; my body faints for you in a land that is dry, desolate, and without water.

What if I told you that satisfaction is actually closer than you think?

That it’s not on the other side of a shopping trip, new house, or romance. It’s not waiting for you in a new year, a new you, or a new resolution.

It is available to you today.

True, lasting, joy-filled satisfaction.

But it is only found in One place.

Psalm 17:15b (CSB): I will be satisfied with your presence.

Good news! God has gifted us with Scripture – which is full of God’s instructions and promises about HOW to find satisfaction in His presence.

You may be wondering exactly what that’s supposed to look like in real life.

The Bible spells it all out for us!

But for some reason God didn’t put it all on one page. Or even all in one book. He didn’t post it in a blog post of 7 Easy Steps or tweet it in 280 characters.

Instead, God spread His guide to heart satisfaction over the entire Bible.

He generously gave us all the answers we seek on this subject, but He obviously wants us to put in a little time and do a little digging to find His formula for satisfaction.

Why do you think that is?

Could the answers mean more if we have to work hard to find them?

Will the answers stick more effectively (like written on our hearts?) if we have to spend precious time searching for them?

I think we’re on to something here.
