‘Tis the season for shopping for new planners, right? They seem to be everywhere I turn. Never mind that there’s 4 more months until my current planners run out. Yes, plural. I have my “Goldilocks” (just right) Christian Printable Planner and my planner for writing a verse a day.
And then there’s also my mini calendar where I keep track of birthdays, and of course, there’s the calendar on my phone for my appointments.
Too much of a good thing? I guess it could be said that I have a problem. But, there are worse things to be addicted to.
Don’t you dare bring up coffee. {grin}
Well, it must not be too much of a good thing yet, because today I am adding one more planner!
And in my defense, this one was a reader request.
Introducing …
The Horizontal Weekly Christian Printable Planner Sheet
This Printable Planner Pack includes hand-lettering and/or blank sheets – for when you are feeling creative and want to add your own stickers, stamping, lettering, and all-the-things.
You can use it as a traditional planner, OR you can do what I’m going to do.
Did you guess?
You are so observant!
I am beyond excited to start Scripture writing on these colorful weekly pages! Good bye boring plain pages!
Side note … Our printable pages also come in hardcover journals too!
Having a goal to write a verse each day is key to helping me stay consistent in the Word.
Even if I’m super busy, I can still carve out the time to write one every day – yes, every day – because I know it’s doable. I can write a verse in 5 minutes, or I can spend much longer and read the chapter around the verse. Every day the amount of time can be adjusted as need be.
I am looking forward to filling these pretty watercolor pages with God’s Word!
Here’s a little secret: There’s something about using a planner to write verses. Having designated spots to write each day … well, I can’t seem to leave any spot blank! It works!
Side Note: Read 10 Unconventional Reasons to Hand-Write Bible Verses.
I can’t tell you how much I want you to experience the HUGE blessing of writing a verse a day.
Having this “verse hunt” in the back of my mind has made such a difference in my Bible study time. Now I’m always on the lookout for the verse(s) that I think the Lord wants me to write down. Once I have it, I re-read it a few times before I write it.
I also like to pick one word to underline or write in ALL CAPS which forces me to think about each word a little longer.
You would be amazed at all the Lord has taught me in the mere couple of minutes before I write a verse!
I have found that the longer I sit with a verse, the more the Lord teaches me.
And that explains why I put this verse on the planner sheet …
Psalm 119:18 (NLT): Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions.
Pray that prayer and get ready – because God will open your eyes!
Now, allow me to remind you of …
The Vertical Weekly Christian Printable Planner Sheet
This Printable Planner Pack includes hand-lettering and/or blank sheets – for when you are feeling creative and want to add your own stickers, stamping, lettering, and all-the-things.
This is my original planner sheet that I use daily. I affectionately call it my “Goldilocks” planner – because it’s just right.
You see, in my quest for the perfect planner, I couldn’t find a vertical weekly page that included all of these biblical time management principles. I wanted the “things from above” to be first and foremost in my week – in each day.
Colossians 3:1-2 (ESV): If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
So, I made my own planner! Who knows, it may be just right for you too. Check out these features …
1. Write a memory verse for the week.
2. Write prayer requests for the week.
3. Record your quiet time – either with a big check-mark or the verses you read.
4. Write down morning activities.
5. Write down lunch dates or use this area to plan what to eat for lunch – great if you are keeping track of eating healthy!
6. Write down afternoon activities.
7. What’s for dinner?
8. Write down evening activities.
9. What are your goals for the week?
10. Write down the cleaning chores for that day.
11. Write your top 3 tasks for each day.

And there you have it – two PERFECT and pretty undated Christian printable planners! In my not-so-humble-at-the-moment opinion. But you gotta admit, these are fun – as well as practical. Yes?
Tips for Using Your Christian Printable Planner Sheets
1. Purchase either the Horizontal or Vertical Planner Sheet. (Or you can use both like me!) Psst – they are very reasonably priced.
2. Print at home on premium paper. I do mine double-sided. (Or have it printed by a professional printer.)
3. Cut sheets in half. (I use this.)
4. Punch holes. (It’s easier with this mini hole puncher.)
5. Add pages to a pretty junior-sized binder.
6. Use fun colorful pens like these.
You are now all set to keep the things from above in the forefront of your week! Let me know how it goes!
Psalm 31:14-15a (ESV): But I trust in you, O Lord; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in your hand;
