Welcome to my virtual Blog Scrapbook! Every year in January I celebrate my blogiversary and look back to reminisce and see what worked and what didn’t. Life-long learning, right? Plus, it’s usually fun and surprising to see your favorite posts (and how different they were from my favorite posts) for the past year.

We’ll get to our favorites in a sec, but first …

A Few Fun Facts From 2018

50 – The number of free printables emailed to my wonderful subscribers. I only missed two Thursdays – one for a hurricane and one for my pre-scheduled break after Christmas. (Note: I will be moving to every other Thursday in 2019.)

53 – The number of new items added to my Etsy shop. (5 mugs, 1 tea towel, 2 calendars, 4 bundles, 1 new planner page, 1 Ipad sleeve, 39 Bible verse printable wall art/cards)

118 – Total number of listings in my Etsy shop on Dec. 31, 2018.

1 – The number of Verse Journals I designed. (I am most excited about this one!)

10 – The number of books that made my Book Review cut. (I only take the time to review books I really liked.)

1 – The number of new challenges added to help us write God’s Word on our hearts. (If you haven’t seen this challenge yet, you are in for a treat!)

1 – The number of Accountability Groups added to help us stick with our challenge commitment.

Those last two bring me to today’s verse…

Philippians 1:6 (NASB): For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

2019 will be dedicated to nurturing His good work in us!

How?

We are going to seek Him with all our heart. (Deuteronomy 4:29, Jeremiah 29:13)

How exactly?

Daily time with the Lord in His Word!

Yes, daily.

1 Chronicles 16:11 (ESV): Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!

Proverbs 8:17 (ESV): I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me.

Join us in Writing a Verse a Day!

I can think of no better New Year’s resolution than to seek Him daily.

It’s gonna be great! Join our accountability group!

My Favorite Posts for 2018 (and why)

1. How to Enjoy the Bible (because that’s my desire for YOU – and the whole point of this blog)

2. John 3:30 – What Life’s All About (because this verse has intrigued me for years)

3. There Must Be Something in the Water (because it revealed the prescription for anxiety)

4. The #1 Reason to Draw Near to God (because it was an aha moment)

5. A Short List of Ways to Please God (because I love a good, short list – and what could be better than pleasing God)

Clearly, I lean toward the less-practical posts. {grin}

I’m thinking that a healthy dose of both is a good thing, right?

So in 2019 I will continue to offer a variety of posts, but they will all have a common ground of promoting God’s Word and writing it on our hearts.

BUT… If you have any ideas or suggestions for this little corner of the internet, I would love to hear from you! Fire away.

Happy New Year!

And I hope to see you in our Accountability Group!

*My prayer for you is … that this blog will inspire you to open your Bible every single day to seek God’s face and write His Word on your heart – because HE’S the key to lasting heart change!
