This year, the announcement of my new calendars is more exciting than ever!
Anyone else ready to bring on 2021? {grin}
Back in March, who would have guessed that life would still be “unprecedented” in August! Every month that passes by, I still can’t believe how long this pandemic is lasting.
But God is not surprised.
Psalm 139:16 (CSB): Your eyes saw me when I was formless; all my days were written in your book and planned before a single one of them began.
And my definition of “long” is not the same as His.
2 Peter 3:8 (ESV): But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
I take comfort in knowing that God is in control – no matter what is going on.
Acts 17:24-26 (ESV): The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place,
Did you catch the phrase boundaries of their dwelling place? The quarantine and social distancing did not surprise God at all! {grin again}
But let’s take a moment to assess – what have we done with our determined allotted period?
You may have abandoned your 2020 calendar and/or planner by now, but hopefully not! Because it’s good to assess, to look back, to remember what God has done.
Psalm 105:5 (ESV): Remember the wondrous works that he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he uttered,
As we think about planning and remembering, let’s not merely wait for these days to be over so we can move forward. Let’s learn and grow and keep Jesus as the center of our calendars.
Even if we can’t plan like we used to, we can still keep track of our appointments with Jesus!
Write them down on one of these two 2021 Christian printable calendars!
The first calendar is a Quarterly Grid Calendar – perfect for planning your whole year a quarter at a time.
2021 Printable Quarterly Grid Calendar
This calendar comes in both plain and floral. You get 2 for the price of 1!
If you want to make a wall poster calendar, all you need is a little decorative tape!
I had fun making mine into a …
Large Wall Calendar
I use this calendar for my blog planning and tracking. But there are all kinds of ways to use it …
- for your office
- for your classroom (if you’re a teacher)
- as a gift for your child’s teacher
- for your home business
- to coordinate all of your family’s activities
- as a quarterly planner
- as a goal or habit tracker
- to record the verses you read each day
In the past, I spent way too much on a huge poster calendar that ended up being too big for my liking (and my walls). It had to stay rolled up most of the time – which defeats the whole purpose of being able to see it at a glance.
Right?
So now I make myself a perfectly-sized year planning calendar. It isn’t quite so super-sized (but still large) and is much more affordable.
And you know, when I make something for myself, you always get to benefit too!
This calendar is designed with one quarter per regular 8.5×11 page. You can choose whether to view a quarter at a time, or tape the pages together to make a poster so you can view the whole year at a time.
Now for the second calendar…
This one is our always-anticipated annual monthly calendar that features 12 hand-lettered watercolor Bible verses and hymns.
This year I’ve added a theme!
All of the 12 verses and hymns on the 2021 monthly calendar are about peace – and where to get it.
You do know where, right?
John 16:33 (ESV): [Jesus answered] I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
In Jesus.
Now you have a monthly reminder of that!
And don’t forget that after the month is over, you can make Scripture cards by cutting off the calendar section and keeping the hand-lettered verse.
2021 here we come! We’re ready this time.

5 Ways To Use Your 2021 Christian Printable Calendar
1} Print your calendar on high quality premium printer paper or cardstock. Or you can always take it to a professional printer. Note: this calendar comes in 2 sizes – half page or whole page (8.5″ x 11″).
2} Find a lovely way to display it – like a pretty clip board or acrylic frame or one of those giant desk clothespins.
3} Another great idea is to put it in a pretty frame and use a dry erase marker to write (and wipe off) notes on the glass.
4} Use it as a meaningful birthday or Christmas gift for a friend. Print a set, add a colorful pen set, and tie it all with a ribbon. Voila!
5} Put it in a special spot where you will see it often so you can memorize the verses.
This calendar just keeps on giving!
I hope you find these calendars as useful and helpful as I do. I would love to see yours in action! Tag me on instagram if you post it.
I pray they will be a constant reminder to …
Psalm 37:5: Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.
Proverbs 16:3: Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.
*My prayer for you is … that this blog will inspire you to open your Bible every single day to seek God’s face and write His Word on your heart – because HE’S the key to lasting heart change!
