Alyson’s Favorite Things
I got a new single cup coffee maker and I love it! It has ALL the essential-to-me features – brews both K-cups or grounds (I mostly use grounds), has 6, 8, 10, 12 ounce choices, has a rich brew option, and an adjustable base for all mug sizes. And the fun part … it’s blue!

I rarely read fiction, but I ordered When the Day Comes by Gabrielle Meyer to take on vacation, and WOW it was great! It’s the first book in a series, so I see more fiction in my future. Btw, it’s Christian fiction and included lots of surprising twists and turns!
Need a new fun game to play? Our family recommends the game Telestrations which is a hilarious combination of Telephone and illustrations. Remember the Telephone game where you whisper to the person next to you and by the time the whisper gets to the end of the line it’s something totally different? This is like that but with drawings!
I just recommended Wellnesse products to someone the other day and it dawned on me that I don’t think I’ve shared them here before. I have used their shampoo for years on my thin fine hair and I also like their toothpaste to help my sensitive teeth!
If you’re a member of Thrive Market, you can also order the toothpaste ^ there.

If you need a gift idea, I am crazy about my Aura Digital Frame. May favorite part is that we can set a timer for it to turn itself on and off for several hours each day. Also, my kids can add photos to it from their phones!
I’ve been enjoying a not-your-average devotional called Upon Waking by Jackie Hill Perry. Why do I say it’s not average? Because it contains rich, deep biblical thinking that challenges us to live set apart. Definitely 5 stars!
I feel a little silly being excited over a microwave cover, but when I recently had to replace my cracked one, I found this shatterproof microwave cover and it is seriously the G.O.A.T. of microwave covers! I’m pretty confident I’ll never have to buy another one – ever. It’s the little things in life, right?

Heather’s Favorite Things
I love cinnamon tea, but I’ve only ever bought the individually wrapped tea bags. Alyson gifted us this tin of Harney & Sons Cinnamon Tea and the flavor was next level. Did you know the 10th wedding anniversary traditional gift is tin? I thought this gift was pretty clever!
I was totally influenced here, but I bought these Teva sandals from a blogger’s recommendation and they were well worth it! They are lightweight, so comfortable, and cute enough to wear with a summer dress.

One of my best friends has been telling me to read Jane Eyre for ages, but I just couldn’t get into it. I finally started listening to this version on Audible, and I am loving it. The narrator is exceptional. It’s a long one, but so worth it!
Our family made a road trip to visit two National Parks, and the hero of the trip was the Slumberpod. I’ve known about these for a long time but never made the investment, but when we were all going to be sharing a hotel room with our rambunctious 1.5 year old, I decided to borrow one from a friend. It was just as magical as everyone says! He slept so well, and the rest of us were able to stay up past his bedtime without keeping him awake!
I recently bought several candles from Antique Candle Co, and I LOVE them. They are made with soy and they are free from all the things they’re supposed to be free from, and they smell amazing. The large jars have lasted a long time!
I have shared before about my favorite slippers ever from LL Bean, and I live in them from October to March. But once the weather starts to warm up in Middle GA, they make my feet too hot! I still want to wear something around the house (because who has a perpetually crumb-free floor?!) so I bought what I’m calling my “summer slippers” on Amazon and have loved them. I think they will keep me comfy through the season and they weren’t very expensive. I do realize that this will mean I have talked about slippers on two separate occasions, but what can I say? I like cozy feet!
I’m going back to using my slow rise alarm clock to help me wake up in the mornings. It gradually gets brighter beginning about 30 minutes before my alarm is set, which is supposed to help my brain wake more slowly rather than jolting awake. It also plays birds chirping rather than a terrible sound. I think it is really helpful!
